Annapurna Base Camp – NEPAL
Why is it a solidarity trek?
Because while you enjoy this Trekking with a local and sustainable agency in Nepal, too you collaborate with the project of the Maresía Association (www.maresia.ong). The Seasiness Association for the Promotion of International Volunteering and the Sustainable Development Goals develops an educational and communication development project in a village in Nepal. The benefits obtained with this solidarity trekking revert to school maintaining the dining room as well as improving the living conditions of children in Nepal.
Brief Itinerary:
Expand AllMay 02: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our airport representative welcomes you and will accompany you to the hotel in Kathmandu. After a while to cool off, in the evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner in one of the typical restaurants in the heart of Kathmandu and you will have a briefing on your trip.

Optional: Depending on your flight schedule, we can organize guided tours of Durbar Square and / or the Temple of the Monkeys. (Price 20 euros)
May 03: Visit to UNESCO World Heritage sites: Bhaktapur and Changunaryan. Visit the Seasure College to know what the benefits obtained with this Solidarity Trekking revert to.

May 04: Journey to Pokhara valley ( 823m ), 6-8 hours depending on traffic.
Early in the morning, we will travel by tourist bus to Pokhara through the beautiful landscapes of Nepal until we reach Pokhara. Transfer to the hotel and free time to explore the surroundings of Lake Phewa.

May 05: Journey to Nayapool and Trekking to Chhomrong ( 2,210m ), 5-6 hrs trek
We will cross suspension bridges, and trails that will take us to the town of Gurung where we will have lunch. Then we will continue to the town of Chhomrong (2210 m) that is hidden at the base of Hiunchuli Mountain. Chhomrong is the largest settlement in Gurung in this valley.

May 06: Trek a Dovan (2,600m), 5-6 hrs walk
After breakfast, our trail descends to Chhomrong Khola and then the trail takes us to a small spot on Sinuwa Hill. The trail then enters the upper Modi Khola valley. After lunch we continue our walk down to Bamboo through an uninhabited forest area to Dovan for the night.

May 07: Trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp (MBC- 3,700m / 12,139ft), 4-5 hrs walk
After breakfast, our day begins on the ascent to the Hotel Himalaya (2840m). Along the way we can explore the Hinku cave, where from the path it crosses a ravine and an important avalanche track a little further to Deurali (3,000 m / 9,840 feet) for lunch. After lunch, the trail continues to Machhapuchre base camp for the night with the closest view of Machhapuchre along Annapurna I

May 08: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC-4130m) 3 hrs walk
After breakfast, this day will take you to the heart of the Sanctuary at Annapurna base camp for the night. The trail continues uphill for a few hours past some shepherd cabins, this area is windy and often snowy. This is a magnificent landscape of the Himalayas and you can rarely see this incredible panoramic view of the snowy mountains that surround it.

May 09: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,300m), 5-hrs walk
Today he wakes up with the vision of dawn on Mount Annapurna I and, after a good moment, returns on Bamboo to spend the night. You can rest and relax at night with a good memorable view of the many snow-capped peaks and enjoy dinner.

May 10: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,780m), 5-6 hrs walk
After breakfast, our path leads to the Khuldi Ghar and we go back to Sinuwa Hill, continue walking to the Chhomrong. After lunch, the walk descends abruptly towards the Jhinu for the night. You may have the opportunity to visit the natural hot springs to the stream and enjoy the hot bath.

May 11: Trek a Pokhara, 6-7 hrs walk & 1 hr drive
This will be a long day walk that follows the Modi River almost all the way to reach the town of Landruk from here, the route follows the descent path that leads back to the Syauli Bazaar. The walk is pleasant most of the way following the Modi river to Birethanthi and an easy walk to Nayapul. Our adventure ends here and we return to Pokhara for the night.

May 12: Free day in Pokhara
During your free time you can choose many activities in Pokhara such as paragliding, zip line, ultralight, wellness, cycling, etc. Or you can simply walk and relax around Lake Phewa, or visit the World Peace Pagoda.

May 13: Pokhara Journey to Kathmandu (1,300m / 4,264 ft), 5-6 hrs drive
Early in the morning we will return by tourist bus to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the guide will transfer you to the hotel and the rest of the time you will relax or explore the surrounding areas and spend the night at the hotel.

May 14: Return to the country of origin.
Free day, depending on the schedule of your return flight you can take the opportunity to explore Kathmandu or make the last purchases. Transfer to the international airport for your departure flight to your destination

Cost Includes:
- Airport pick-up and transfer to the hotel by private vehicle
- 3 * boutique hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara with breakfast
- All accommodation at TeaHouses during trekking
- All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trek.
- All necessary documents and permits to enter the Annapurna National Conservation Park.
- Transportation by tourist bus.
- Permit of the information management system for hikers (TIMS).
- An experienced guide.
- Porters (1 carrier for 2 people, maximum 20 kilos)
- Expenses of salary, food, drinks, accommodation, transportation and insurance for the guide and the carrier.
